Abraham and Isaac Story - Bible
Send Wishes with Message Magic in Your Language.God had promised Abraham that Isaac would be the son who would start a great nation. Abraham loved Isaac very much.
One day, God wanted to test Abraham's faith. God said, 'Abraham, take your son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the mountain. There, offer him as a sacrifice to Me.'
Abraham's heart was sad, but he trusted God completely. Early the next morning, Abraham chopped wood for the fire. He took Isaac and two servants and went toward the mountain.
Isaac carried the wood on his back. He asked, 'Father, we have the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the sacrifice?'
Abraham's eyes filled with tears. He said, 'God will provide the lamb, my son.'
When they reached the mountain, Abraham built an altar. He placed the wood on it. Then he tied Isaac and laid him on the altar. Just as Abraham picked up the knife to sacrifice his son, an angel of the Lord called out, 'Abraham! Do not hurt the boy! Now I know that you fear God, because you did not keep your only son from Me.'
Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught in a bush by its horns. God had provided a lamb! Abraham untied Isaac and offered the ram instead.
God said, 'Because you obeyed Me, I will bless you greatly. Your family will be as many as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore.'
Abraham and Isaac walked down the mountain together, holding hands. They thanked God for being so good and faithful.
